Job summary

We are looking for a hands‑on HR Executive to join our Bentong team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people from all walks of life and is confident in representing the company when dealing with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workforce Management: Oversee HR matters for a diverse team of both local and foreign workers.
  • Authority Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for authorities such as JTK (Labour Dept), Immigration, etc.
  • Worker Compliance: Manage workers compliance to various regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll & Admin: Process monthly payroll, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the hiring process and help new staff settle into their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years in HR, specifically with experience handling foreign worker management.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act and current policies regarding foreign labour.
  • Authority Relations: Proven ability to deal professionally with government officers and departments.
  • Communication: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (ability to speak other languages is a plus given our diverse team).
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
