A global healthcare and security company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Manager to oversee HR processes and support employee relations. This role requires at least 7 years of HR experience with 3 years in people management. The successful candidate will manage talent recruitment, ensure competitive remuneration, and implement effective HR practices. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting organizational strategies.
A. Overall Purpose Of The Job (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position) The role focuses on providing day to day support and advice to the assigned business(s), to ensure that human resources management of the function operates at maximum efficiency. Particular support is needed in the areas of employee communications, employment contract management, employee relations, performance management, code of conduct, overtime and absenteeism management. The incumbent will work to develop best practice human resources processes in these areas.
Administration & Management
Supporting assigned business in contract tightening and the development of appropriate HR processes for the end to end management of employees (full spectrum).
Support the HR management for all contracts ensuring that appropriate HR and leadership practices are in place.
Support various tenders’ process from a HR perspective (where applicable).
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all key internal customers.
Work with the senior management team to develop and implement appropriate strategies to meet the needs of the business whilst maximizing the International SOS brand in the market place.
Contribute to the profitability of the company by adhering to the department’s operating budget and controlling employee activity expense budget.
Provide sound advice regarding Industrial Relations regulations and requirements.
Human Resource Management
Manage talent resourcing activities and onboarding programs for all new hires. Ensure that the recruitment needs of designated Business Line are being forecasted, planned and fulfilled timely. Working with stakeholders to recruit high quality candidate with the relevant skills for the role. Managing the end-to-end candidate experience.
Manage all HR operations related matters including payroll management for employees in assigned business. Coordinate the remuneration and incentive process for the designated Business Line.
Work with the compensation and benefits team to ensure that remuneration levels are competitive, and relevant benchmarking is conducted.
Ensure that the operation understands and implements International SOS Human Resource policies and practices which are in line with local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain positive employee relations by proactively working with department heads on staff issues, through provision of staff welfare and recreation programs, and through regular and positive engagement with staff at all levels.
Support in cultural, values and change management initiatives to improve staff morale, retention and maintain a positive workplace environment. Responsible for recommending and implementing employee retention strategies. Coordinating the various HR initiatives which directly translates to great employee engagement experience, enhancing the loyalty and motivation of our employees - including recruitment, development, talent management, engagement and culture building.
Support business to utilize internal system to provide information and feedback for line management to proactively manage their staff.
Ensure that the performance management framework is completed on a quarterly basis for all staff, and that identified development needs are addressed. In collaboration with Group L&D and relevant stakeholders, identify and implement relevant continuous learning pathways and development roadmaps.
Provide assistance to Team Leaders and Managers to determine organizational development needs, and work closely with the Human Resources team to design and implement appropriate programs.
Develop and maintain a people metric dashboard for designated Business Line.
Compile monthly human resources related report as required.
Other Duties
To work within and promote all International SOS’s policies, procedures and corporate values.
To be aware of International SOS’ OH&S policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of these important areas of our business.
Undertaking project work or any other reasonable duties as requested by the direct Manager.
