We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead the HR department and enhance our Human Resources function, with a key focus on staff engagement, organizational culture, and employee experience. This role is critical in shaping a positive and high‑performing work environment by driving HR strategies that align with our company values and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Staff Engagement & Culture
- Develop and lead employee engagement strategies and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct regular employee engagement activities, analyze results, and implement action plans.
- Organize and oversee staff recognition programs.
- Act as a trusted advisor and culture ambassador within the organization.
- Engage with staff at the Centre and Head Quarter.
- Partner with stakeholders and JV directors to align HR practices with business objectives.
- Lead HR planning, policy development, and implementation in accordance with labour laws and best practices.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
- Talent Management
- Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Support onboarding, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Implement performance management systems that promote continuous feedback and development.
- HR Operations
- Oversee and supervise HR team members to support daily operations.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration in collaboration with Directors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Preferably possesses HR operations experience in the Retail or Beauty related industry.
- Strong experience in employee engagement, communications, and culture-building.
- In-depth experience in HR best practices, and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fast‑pace environment.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive initiatives across departments.
- Willing to travel within Klang Valley & outstation.
- able to start work immediately – an added advantage.
- Possesses own car.
- Required language(s): English and multilingual – need to liaise with multilingual speaking colleagues.
