A regional human resources firm seeks an HR & Project Coordinator in Tanjong Malim. This role involves managing recruitment, client servicing, and developing community partnerships. We are looking for a proactive HR & Project Coordinator to support our business operations and client engagements in Tanjung Malim.
This role combines recruitment, client servicing, government liaison, and school/university partnership building, and is ideal for someone who enjoys people‑facing work, field visits, and community engagement.
Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for various roles including operators, technicians, engineers, administrative, HR, accounting, and other positions.
Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with candidates.
Build and maintain a local talent pipeline through community channels, job fairs, and institutional networks.
Support onboarding and deployment of contract workers to client sites.
Conduct regular onsite visits to check on contract workers’ attendance, welfare, and basic performance.
Assist clients with HR coordination, documentation, and issue resolution.
Conduct basic OSHA compliance checks at client premises when supplying contract workers.
Act as the main point of contact for clients in Tanjung Malim.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with JTK, PERKESO, and other local authorities.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on required forms and documents related to contract workers.
Ensure compliance with labour regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with UPSI, ADTEC, vocational colleges, and nearby training institutes.
Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and institutional meetings.
Work with universities/colleges to improve student employability and internship placement pipelines.
Support talent outreach programs and campus engagement initiatives.
Assist with HR documentation, contract issuance, employee records, and internal reporting.
Coordinate local HR projects, workforce planning, and service improvement initiatives.
Provide periodic status updates to HQ regarding recruitment, client issues, and local activities.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related fields.
Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in HR, recruitment, or operations is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable conducting field visits and engaging with stakeholders.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
Familiarity with Tanjung Malim area is a bonus.
