Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions, including payroll, foreign worker management, and team leadership.

This role requires a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to manage a team of 6 HR subordinates effectively and contribute to the companys growth in the steel manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, and termination processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with statutory requirements, and resolution of related issues.
  • Manage all aspects of foreign worker recruitment, permits, accommodations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and Malaysian labor laws.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR management experience.
  • Prior leadership experience managing team of at least 5.
  • Candidates with HR experience in manufacturing or related industries are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and foreign worker regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HR systems.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
