About the role

This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced HR & Admin Manager to join the talented team at EVERLASTING BASE SDN. BHD. Based in Melaka, you will play a critical role in overseeing all human resources and administrative functions for the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and terminations
• Oversee and maintain all HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Liaise with Immigration Dept, JTK and KDN to ensure validity of foreign worker documentation.
• Conduct regular safety inspection of factory, record and report workplace incidents, injuries to management and DOSH
• Manage and control the scheduled waste management documentation according to DOE regulations.
• Review and update all ISO documentation is up to date and support internal and external ISO audits.
• Represent the company in third party Product Certification audit sessions.
• Assist in handling disciplinary matters such as absenteeism or misconduct.
• Experience in Domestic Inquiry (DI) process.

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience (5+ years) in a generalist HR management role, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws, policies and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Familiar with DOSH, DOE and Bomba regulations and reporting systems
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems and document control procedures.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
• Able to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
