Job summary

A legal and consultancy firm in Penang is looking for an experienced HR professional. The role involves coordinating recruitment, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should have at least a diploma in HR management and three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sound knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law are essential. Good command of English is required, and Mandarin is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the firm’s HR functions while supporting a dynamic team.

Job description

Co-ordinate recruitment activities including advertising, interview, preparing letter of employment, Contract for Service and conducting induction program.

Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accurancy and completeness of documentations and compliance with the statutory requirement.

Liaise with government agencies on statutory requirements on all payroll related matters. Submit monthly statutory payment and necessary forms to Inland Revenue Board, EPF, PERKESO and HRDC.

Monitoring of staff annual and medical leave.

To carry out any other task as assigned by Superior from time to time.

Requirements:

Possess at least Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management or Commerce with at least three (3) years of direct working experience in the field of HR.

Well versed in Employment Act and Malaysia Labour Law.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.

Good command of written and spoken English. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
