We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Security Supervisor to join our team in Melaka. This full-time position will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. As the Hotel Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of security professionals and implementing effective security measures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hotel security team to ensure efficient and effective security operations
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the hotel's assets, personnel, and guests
Conduct regular security assessments and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate risks
Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and crises in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed
Provide security-related training and guidance to hotel staff
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and activities
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to security management

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of security professionals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with guests, staff, and external stakeholders
Proficient in the use of security equipment and technologies, such as CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
Thorough understanding of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response procedures
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to hotel security
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and informed decisions in high-pressure situations
