Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Development
    • Conduct onboarding training for new hosts, covering platform rules, hosting skills, SOPs, and company guidelines.
    • Develop and deliver training modules on presentation skills, product demo skills, camera presence, selling techniques, crisis handling, etc.
    • Provide ongoing refresher training based on host performance and business needs.
    • Create training materials such as slides, scripts, video demos, checklists, and evaluation forms.
  • Performance Monitoring & Coaching
    • Monitor live sessions to identify areas of improvement for hosts.
    • Offer 1-on-1 coaching with actionable feedback and improvement plans.
    • Evaluate host performance based on KPIs (engagement, sales conversion, compliance, professionalism).
  • Content & Process Improvement
    • Work closely with the Live Operations team to ensure training aligns with business strategies.
    • Identify hosting issues, challenges, and skill gaps, and propose training solutions.
    • Standardize hosting guidelines, tone of voice, workflow, and best practices.
  • Talent Management
    • Help assess, select, and develop new hosts based on performance and potential.
    • Support in building a structured host ranking and progression system.
    • Participate in hosting auditions and performance reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate with Production, Content, Marketing, and Campaign teams to ensure hosts are prepared for upcoming shows.
    • Align product knowledge training with Merchandising and Client teams.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Maintain training logs, attendance records, improvement plans, and performance reports.
    • Provide management with regular updates on training outcomes, host progress, and recommendations.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Performing Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in live streaming, training, coaching, or talent development.
  • Experience as a host or trainer in e-commerce/live commerce is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of live-streaming platforms and e-commerce workflows.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and guide talents.
  • Strong problem-solving and observation skills.
  • Good command of English (Mandarin/Malay is an added advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
