Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in clinical experience at a tertiary hospital or Rehabilitation Centre is advantageous.

Job description

Home Physiotherapist (Bandar Sunway & Penang)

Manage patient on home physiotherapy safely, ethically and professionally:

Demonstrate operational knowledge of physiotherapy procedure applicable to area of assignment.Provide accurate and complete assessment, management and documentation to meet patient’s clinical needs

Work with multidisciplinary team within or beyond Sunway Healthcare Group to optimize care for patient at home

Generate strategies to manage complex patients, to motivate care-givers and families to engage in therapeutic process

Generate potential solutions to maximize therapeutic outcomes and to facilitate these skills in physiotherapists and technicians so that a high quality of professional care is maintained

Manage resources to ensure no interruption of service and clinical needs of patients, especially during busy time and over the weekends/public holidays

Effective communication and collaboration with all parties concerned to ensure the best clinical outcome for the customer.

Requirements:

Recognized Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university

Registered with Malaysian Allied Health Professionals Board

Registered with Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA) and/or other relevant Physiotherapist Associations

2-4 years of experience in clinical experience at a tertiary hospital or Rehabilitation Centre will be an added advantage

Evidence based Physiotherapy Assessment and intervention skill
