Head of Region (Sarawak) – Enterprise Business
We invite a seasoned leader to drive our enterprise business in Sarawak, empowering teams, customers and the region to achieve excellence>Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & P&L Management:
- Develop and execute the regional strategy to reach sales targets, profitability and market share.
- Own the region’s P&L, forecasting, budgeting and financial management.
- Provide market analysis and competitor intelligence to inform strategy.
- Sales & Commercial Performance:
- Lead the sales team to develop pipeline, convert opportunities and generate revenue from new and existing customers.
- Personally engage in high‑value, complex contract negotiations.
- Establish and monitor KPIs such as revenue attainment, customer acquisition cost and sales cycle length.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales team.
- Foster accountability and continuous improvement through coaching and performance management.
- Set clear objectives and provide resources and support to enable team success.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Build long‑lasting relationships with key enterprise customers and C‑level executives.
- Act as senior point of escalation for regional customer issues, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes and CRM best practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Operations to align regional activities with corporate goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. MBA highly preferred.
- Experience:
- 12‑15 years in B2B/enterprise sales, 5‑7 years in senior leadership managing sales teams.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share in a competitive environment.
- Proven experience managing a P&L and developing regional business strategies.
- Experience in Telecommunications, SaaS, IT Solutions or similar sector essential.
