Job description

• Lead and maintain site Quality Management and Food Safety systems in line with global standards
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, customer and internal requirements across the manufacturing site
• Own site readiness for internal and external audits
• Oversee quality control processes
• Manage laboratory operations, testing protocols and documentation control
• Drive hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices
• Lead investigations into quality deviations, customer complaints and food safety incidents
• Drive RCA and CAPA implementation
• Support site crisis management where food safety risks are involved
• Lead and coach the site Quality team
• Build a strong quality mindset across the plant, influencing beyond direct reporting lines

A successful Head of Quality should have:

• A degree in Food Science, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations in the FMCG industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in implementing quality control systems and processes.
