Acclime Group is looking for a Group Credit Control Manager to join our dynamic Group Finance team in Kuala Lumpur! This role is responsible for managing the group’s credit and collections activities across regions, ensuring effective credit risk controls, timely receivables collection, and support for working capital goals. The manager will implement credit policies, coordinate credit assessments, and work closely with regional teams to drive consistent performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk Management
  • Apply group credit policies and procedures across business units.
  • Review and recommend customer credit limits based on financial analysis.
  • Monitor credit exposure and elevate risks as needed.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to support business growth while managing risk.
Credit Control & Collections
  • Coordinate credit control activities across regions to ensure timely collections.
  • Track and report on overdue accounts and support resolution of high-risk cases.
  • Monitor KPIs such as DSO, aging, and bad debt provisions.
  • Support escalation processes for delinquent accounts.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular reports on credit exposure and collection performance.
  • Analyse payment trends and recommend actions to improve cash flow.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks related to receivables.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work with finance, commercial, and legal teams on credit-related matters.
  • Liaise with external credit agencies and legal counsel when required.
  • Provide guidance to regional credit teams to ensure consistency and compliance.
Process Improvement & Governance
  • Support improvements in credit assessment and collection processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • 5–8 years of experience in credit management, preferably in a regional or group-level role.
  • Solid understanding in financial statement analysis, credit scoring methodologies, and ERP systems.
