Job summary

A leading gift company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial results consolidation, prepare cash flow projections, annual reports, and manage the budgeting process. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of finance or accounting experience, including audit experience, and must hold a recognized Accounting/Finance Degree. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software are essential. The role requires effective communication skills in English and Malay, with Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Applicant with audit experience is a must.
  • Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate financial results quarterly and yearly.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and annual reports.
  • Review monthly management reports and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job description

Consolidation of the group’s financial results on the quarterly and yearly basis.

Prepare cash flows projections or planning for the group.

Prepare annual reports and prepare any other group reporting when required.

Prepare yearly budget report and responsible for the budgeting process.

Review monthly management reports, verify all payment vouchers and journal vouchers.

Review bank reconciliation to ensure cash book records are properly reconciled to the bank statements.

Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards, company policies and related statutory or tax requirements.

Liaise with auditor, company secretary, tax agent, banks and other relevant parties.

Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of internal controlsystems.

Requirements:
  1. Candidate must Candidate must recognized Accounting/Finance Degree or relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.
  2. Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  3. Applicant with audit experience is a must
  4. Strong analytical skill, attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Advanced computer skills on MS office, accounting software and databases.
  6. Effective interpersonal and strong communication skills, proficient in English and Malay. Mandarin speaker would be an advantage.
  7. Able to work independently, flexible with good attitude and can start immediately or onshortnotice.
