Job description

Responsibilities

Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor the live location, movement, and status of vehicles, equipment, or personnel using GPS tracking systems and software.

Route Optimization & Compliance: Analyze route data to identify the most efficient paths, ensure drivers follow planned routes, and monitor adherence to safety and company protocols.

Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, delays, or emergencies, coordinating with drivers, logistics coordinators, and technical support to resolve discrepancies quickly.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate regular reports on fleet activity, key performance indicators (KPIs), fuel consumption, and driver behavior for management and dispatch teams.

System Maintenance: Conduct device health checks and coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of GPS hardware and software systems, troubleshooting any connectivity or functionality issues.

Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of shipment statuses, inventory levels, and all tracking activities for auditing and review purposes.

Communication: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including IT, operations, sales teams, and drivers, to provide updates and ensure seamless operations.
