Job summary

A global non-profit organization is seeking a Manager, Tax in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role ensures effective tax compliance, oversees submission of corporate income tax returns, and manages audits across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance and at least 8 years of tax experience, preferably within a multinational environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as will leading a high-performing tax team.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant tax experience in a multinational environment or Big 4 firm.
• Strong working knowledge of corporate tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and international tax principles.
• Experience handling tax matters in multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns.
• Oversee indirect tax filings such as VAT and GST.
• Lead and manage tax audits and inquiries.
