Global Payroll Process Owner (Mandarin Required)
- Design and implement a comprehensive payroll roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Own end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Monitor and report payroll performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the subject matter expert for payroll systems and processes.
A successful Payroll Process Owner should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in payroll operations or payroll process management, preferably in a multi-country environment or within a shared services/regional hub/COE setting.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin language ability is preferred for easier communication with stakeholders in China.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in payroll transformation projects, vendor outsourcing, system migration, or establishing payroll shared services from scratch will be a strong advantage.
