Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Oversee all business functions including Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, Procurement and Marketing.
  • Lead the senior management team and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, cash flow and profitability.
  • Drive sales growth, market expansion and customer retention strategies.
  • Establish KPIs, performance targets and accountability.
  • Strengthen internal controls, policies, procedures and corporate governance.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers, partners and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and implement strategic improvements.
  • Manage change and drive innovation within the business as necessary.
  • Oversee risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Foster a positive company culture and employee engagement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and experience are important priorities.
  • Collaborate with other departments for synergies and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports for growth and development.
  • Ensure company brand consistency across all retail operations.
  • Oversee inventory management, supply chain and logistics.
  • Drive digital transformation and e‑commerce initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with local communities and authorities.
  • Report directly to Executive Director in charge.
  • Organize Board of Directors meetings when necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8–10 years experience in senior management within retail/FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record managing multi‑branch retail operations.
  • Strong commercial, leadership and strategic management skills.
  • Hands‑on and results‑driven leader.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Willing to be based and work in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
