Job description

Lead and provide management direction to the project team and be involved in all stages of projects from conceptualization, schematic design, detail design, documentation and construction till completion to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timelines and detailed project cost estimation for project budget authorization.

Cooperate in preparation of feasibility studies to assess development potential of new projects or acquisitions.

Review and ensure that all drawings and documentations adhere to specification, advising on necessary changes or improvements as required.

Ensure that all requirements as expressed in the tender documents and contracts are properly implemented, budgets are protected, prompt solutions to technical problems are provided, ensuring progress of works is on schedule and works are completed to required quality and performance standards.

Oversee land acquisition, tender awarding, design, quality control and coordinate with relevant authorities.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure completed projects are properly handed over from contractors with comprehensive documentation and records, including inspection checklist, as-built drawings, maintenance and operation manuals, deed of warranties, inventory list etc.

Develop and maintain close liaison and working relationship with relevant government / statutory bodies, clients, contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Prepare and present project reports, updates, and performance metrics to the Management and stakeholders.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within the project teams.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project management of Property Development.

Preferably candidates have experience in high rise and mix development projects.

Strong knowledge in reviewing technical drawings, project management, building regulation, project implementation and tender processes.

Extensive experience in project planning, scheduling & control.

Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills with proven track record of completing projects within budget, time and quality.

High degree of maturity with good interpersonal skills & communication skills.
