Job summary

A leading contract manufacturer in personal care seeks a General Manager to oversee business development. The role includes developing strategies, driving growth, and leading teams. GENERAL MANAGER (PERSONAL CARE) (REF:NA)

Your future employer is a leading contract manufacturer of personal care, beauty, toiletries, and cosmetic products. They work with both international and local brands to develop, formulate, manufacture, package, and supply products. It is a one‑stop solution for brand owners looking to outsource production and private‑label manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new markets, channels, and revenue streams (local & international).
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy.
  • Drive top‑line growth through key accounts, partnerships, and strategic deals.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts, collaborations, and commercial agreements.
  • Set and achieve annual sales and business growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and performance‑manage the business development and sales teams.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, and Product Development teams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key business meetings.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in Business Development and sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in the personal care or cosmetics industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
