A leading healthcare institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior leader to head the Hospital Support Division. The role involves overseeing various departments, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving innovative initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 10 years of experience in hospital operations or facility management. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity to impact healthcare delivery significantly.
Lead and manage the Hospital Support Division, including Facilities Management, Support Services & Security & Safety, Biomedical Engineering, Project & Property, and Housekeeping.
Oversee a multidisciplinary team , including Senior Managers and Managers across various departments.
Ensure effective management and continuous improvement of facility management and safety structures, in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Integrate and coordinate activities across all support services, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Develop and implement risk management strategies, preventive maintenance programs, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Represent the division in Management Committee meetings and contribute to enterprise-wide governance and strategic planning.
Drive innovation, digital transformation, and process improvement within hospital support services.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
Key Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field) is preferred; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospital operations, facility management, or a related leadership role, with a proven track record in risk management and safety.
Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex hospital support operations.
Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements for healthcare facility management and safety.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and project management.
Relevant certifications in facility management, risk management, or hospital operations are highly desirable.
