A prominent construction and infrastructure company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of earthworks and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of construction management experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Responsibilities include project planning, monitoring, cost control, and maintaining strong client relationships. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of earthwork/infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within approved budgets, and meet required quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and take timely corrective actions to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
Analyze the financial performance of the division, control costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity while minimizing wastage and operational costs.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and relevant authorities to ensure project success and long-term partnerships.
Ensure construction projects meet quality standards and comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Set short-term and long-term goals for the division and ensure their achievement through effective planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management with a proven track record of handling complex contracts.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, machinery and safety standards.
Experience in developing project strategies and resolving operational issues.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
