POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager will establish and lead our new branch in Malaysia, developing strategic business initiatives while building a strong local presence in the Southeast Asian market. The ideal candidate will combine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise with entrepreneurship to drive business growth in alignment with our global vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Malaysia branch, ensuring alignment with headquarters while adapting to local market conditions
- Identify and cultivate market opportunities throughout Southeast Asia, establishing a robust client network to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Represent the company in key industry forums and develop strategic partnerships to enhance market positioning
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, implementing effective systems and processes to ensure efficient service delivery
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve business targets
- Establish compliance frameworks aligned with Malaysian regulations and company governance standards
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise
- Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to develop market-specific solutions
- Build relationships with Microsoft ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and create competitive advantages
- Guide technical teams in solution development and implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and business value
Talent & Culture Development
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing multicultural team aligned with company values
- Foster an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and performance excellence
- Implement effective performance management systems to drive team development and retention
Relationship Maintenance
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations
- Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Malaysia branch, ensuring effective communication
- Represent the company with clients, partners, and the broader business community
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Language
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- Professional fluency in English (assessment required during interview process)
- Professional fluency in the local languages of Malaysia.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in sales, implementation, or solution management roles
- Demonstrated experience in business development, preferably in the Southeast Asian market
- Experience establishing new business units or leading entrepreneurial initiatives
