The Frangipani Langkawi is an award-winning beachfront eco‑resort in Langkawi, seeking a hands‑on, values‑driven General Manager to lead its operations and advance its role as a benchmark for sustainable tourism.

A pioneer in Malaysia’s sustainability movement, Frangipani operates as both a resort and a living sustainability laboratory, integrating renewable energy, water management, organic food production, biodiversity conservation, and community engagement.

The General Manager will provide overall leadership across all departments, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, exceptional guest experiences, and measurable sustainability outcomes.

This role requires a multi‑skilled leader with deep hotel and F&B knowledge, strong people‑management capabilities, and a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship.

The GM will drive revenue growth, cost control, staff development, and innovative eco‑tourism offerings while strengthening Frangipani’s brand, culture, and reputation as a leading sustainable eco‑resort in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily activities, develop and implement strategic plans, set operational policies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage financial operations: work with the Finance head to analyze reports, control costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Lead the HR department: recruitment, training, evaluation, and motivation of staff.
  • Supervise all departmental heads to monitor KPIs, identify growth opportunities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, vendors, and upper management.
