The Company is seeking a General Counsel for its Offshore Legal division. This high-profile leadership role is pivotal in providing strategic legal direction to the expanding offshore portfolio.

The successful candidate will be the principal legal adviser on all offshore operations, responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing a range of complex agreements, including charters, EPCIC contracts, joint ventures, and subcontracts. Additionally, the role involves supporting major project financings, leading dispute resolution matters, and overseeing governance, compliance, and regulatory issues across global subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' post-qualification experience in offshore energy or maritime law, with a strong preference for in-house experience in a related industry.

The General Counsel will be expected to have a proven track record in negotiating and managing high-value commercial contracts and financing arrangements, be commercially astute, and possess strong risk management capabilities.
