Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a Freelance Boilerman for a one-year contract. The Boilerman will be responsible for operating the boiler system, ensuring it maintains the required pressure and temperature during production, and monitoring safety measures. Candidates must possess a valid Boilerman Certificate of Competency (Grade 2) issued by JKKP/DOSH and be physically and mentally fit for high-risk operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Boilerman Certificate of Competency (Grade 2) issued by JKKP/DOSH.
• Have the necessary skills and experience to operate the specific boiler type used by the client.
• Physically and mentally fit to perform high-risk machinery operations.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, monitoring, and shutting down of the boiler system following standard procedures.
• Ensure boiler maintains required pressure and temperature for production.
• Constant surveillance of water levels, pressure gauges, and fuel supply.
• Ensure the system is safely secured after production.

Skills

FREELANCE BOILERMAN (CONTRACT BASED - 1 YEAR)

Responsibilities

• Operation: Start-up, monitoring, and shutting down of the boiler system in accordance with standard operating procedures and DOSH regulations.
• Production Support: Ensuring the boiler maintains the required pressure and temperature to support the daily production reaction cycle until its full completion.
• Safety Monitoring: Constant surveillance of water levels, pressure gauges, and fuel supply to prevent hazards.
• Handover: Ensuring the system is safely secured or handed over after the production batch is completed.

Qualifications

Possess a valid Boilerman Certificate of Competency (Grade 2) issued by JKKP/DOSH.

Have the necessary skills and experience to operate the specific boiler type used by the client.
