Job description

Overview

To deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations by analyzing and interpreting financial data and enabling informed decision‑making for the SEA region.

Responsibilities

• Dig into financial data to uncover trends and insights
• Analyze the departmental cost and perform budgetary controls
• Analyze financial reports to help management make informed decisions

Budget and Forecasting

• Annual budget, seasonalization, quarterly forecast and monthly 12‑month rolling forecast and ensure accurate & timely financial planning
• Provide by‑weekly cashflow forecast
• Ad‑hoc supports for sale forecast and outlook planning when required

Variance Analysis

• Examine the differences between actual results and budgeted figures for performance improvement by business segment
• Work closely with senior management to provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

Performance Monitoring

• Perform the Financial & Operational KPI measurement such as Working Capital, Free Cash Flow, Profitability, Operating expenses control, etc
• Monitor and keep track of backlog orders and billings for monthly reporting

Strategic Support

• Responsible for all finance planning activities
• Prepare business case
• Support senior management for the financial strategic plan

Requirements

• Educational/Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field at a recognized tertiary education institute
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) can be beneficial
• Experience/Skills:
  • 5+ years’ experience in month‑end closing and 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis
  • Preferably with solid experience in an MNC
  • Experience in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
  • Ability to analyze financial data and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to new tools and methods
  • Strong business sense and good in analysis, problem solving, solution identification & implementation skill
  • Proven interpersonal skill and ability to collaborate with all departments within the company
  • Independent, mature and well‑organized
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiar with SAP, Tagetik, Power BI would be a definite advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Others:
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Frequent travel
