Job description

Overview

The Formulation / Production Assistant is responsible for preparing, mixing, and handling liquid formulations used in wet wipes production. This role ensures that all batches are prepared accurately, safely, and according to required specifications, supporting smooth production operations and consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solutions and formulations according to approved formulas and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials following safety and quality requirements.
• Operate mixing tanks, pumps, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all raw materials used are within shelf life and meet quality standards.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain mixing equipment, tanks, and utensils after each batch.
• Follow equipment start-up, shutdown, and safety procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities immediately to the Supervisor.
• Collect raw materials from the warehouse based on approved requisition forms.
• Manage raw material usage and report shortages in advance.
• Supply mixed formulation to production lines on time to avoid downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Chemistry, Science, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or chemical mixing is an advantage (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic understanding of chemicals or handling equipment preferred.
• Able to follow instructions, work accurately, and pay attention to detail.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long hours, and lift moderate weights when needed.
• Willing to work in factory environment and shifts if required.
• Good teamwork, communication, and responsibility.
• Ability to speak and read Mandarin is mandatory to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
