Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for supporting Category Manager and Strategic Sourcing Lead to execute sourcing, contract, and tactical activities. In this role, they will execute procurement tasks to realize the agreed procurement drives to the Bank (e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance, and improved efficiency) to the bank.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Execute end-to-end sourcing activities (RFx development, vendor identification, bid evaluation and award recommendation) in line with set sourcing and in compliance with procurement policies and operational requirements to deliver best value for money for the Bank.
2. Execute vendor negotiation process with vendors to to deliver best value for money for the Bank.
3. Execute contract management activities (manage variations, renewals, termination, and contract write-up) in line with set directives to improve compliance and minimize Bank's exposure to contract related risk.
4. Execute tactical purchases in compliance with procurement policies and operational requirements and in line with the approved strategy so that the procurement provides value for money and fits for purpose procurement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Operations, or similar.

Experience:

• 5 Years working experience in related category management, strategic sourcing, or related area.
