Job Summary

Job Summary: Manage day-to-day finance operations, develop and implement robust accounting systems, enforce internal controls, and ensure timely preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, develop and implement robust accounting systems, enforce internal controls, and ensure timely preparation of financial reports.
  • Responsible for month-end closing, annual budget preparation, Profit and Loss forecast, and ongoing budget monitoring, including variance analysis and rolling forecasts.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial standards.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and budget reports.
  • Responsible for ensuring full compliance with SST filings and e-Invoicing (MyInvois) requirements, including proper documentation and adherence to all statutory regulations.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial, operational, and tax regulations.
  • Coordinate the preparation of audit and tax schedules and promptly address audit or tax queries.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax consultant, legal advisor and various authorities.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop Finance team members to ensure high-quality output and continuous skill enhancement.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to provide insights supporting decision-making.
  • Perform operational reviews to drive continuous improvement in systems, workflows, and internal processes.
  • Support financial initiatives aimed at driving growth, strengthening controls, and ensuring compliance.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as and when required.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accountancy qualification ACCA/MICPA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and scheduling abilities.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
