THIS POSITION IS BASED AT KLK HARDWOOD FLOORING SDN BHD, LOCATED IN IPOH, PERAK.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all financial activities, including accounting, investment, banking, insurance, and securities management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and business clients, providing expert assistance and solutions.
  • Oversee cash flow and financial instruments, ensuring optimal financial health.
  • Direct and manage departmental teams, including recruitment, training, and performance oversight.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, analyse cost data, and implement effective financial controls.
  • Safeguard company assets through robust procedures for custody and control.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and investors, providing timely and accurate financial information.
  • Assess current and future financial status, preparing regulatory and operational reports as required.
  • Approve or coordinate credit lines and loan applications, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Analyse financial reporting systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Network within the community to attract new business opportunities.
  • Manage risk and insurance programmess to minimise losses and protect company interests.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Success Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, with professional qualifications in accounting or management accounting.
  • Qualified Associate of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and valid MIA membership.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a financial manager role.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
