Finance Manager

Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial planning to support the hotel’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor hotel financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Work closely with department heads to control costs and improve profitability.
Cash Flow & Treasury
  • Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and daily financial operations.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and credit control to ensure healthy cash flow.
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain strong internal control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements (tax, audit, licensing).
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
Hotel Operations Support
  • Oversee revenue, cost of sales, payroll, inventory, and purchasing controls.
  • Review room revenue, F&B revenue, and departmental costs for accuracy and efficiency.
Team Management
  • Supervise and develop the finance team, including Accounts Executives/Assistants.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly finance tasks.
Strategic & Management Support
  • Provide financial insights and advice to the General Manager and management team.
  • Support business decisions, investment evaluations, and cost-saving initiatives.
