Overview

We are currently seeking a Finance Executive (Reporting) to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia!

The Finance Executive (Reporting) plays a critical role in supporting the transition to a new SAP system and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accounting standards. This position involves comprehensive analysis of financial statements, coordination of audit activities, and oversight of financial transactions to maintain robust internal controls.

Responsibilities
  • Support the transition of new SAP system project
  • Conducts country level reports in accordance with legal, regulatory and accounting / tax standards as well as accounting/controlling guidelines and requirements
  • Analyses monthly financial statements; accruals and provisions; balance sheet planning; inter-company elimination, and segment reporting
  • Coordinates the resolution of all audit and tax issues for the country
  • Manages internal and external auditing activities together with line finance and auditing organization
  • Oversees financial transaction processing and reconciliations within the country ensuring that robust controls are in operation and to confirm to relevant financial standards
  • Monitor fixed asset movement and ensure proper and accurate fixed assets recorded with tagging and sighting done.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Prepare and record accounting journal entries for month end closing
  • Ensure adhoc requests are met.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) added advantage
  • Audit experience is preferred
  • SAP knowledge will be added advantage
