Job Description
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger (GL)
  • Prepare and review monthly journals (Payroll, Cost & Revenue Accruals, Prepayments).
  • Manage monthly Fixed Asset postings (Additions, Disposals, Depreciations).
  • Prepare and review monthly trial balance and adjustment journals.
  • Perform and reconcile monthly Balance Sheet accounts.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Oversee the full AR cycle, from retail collections to account postings and monthly closing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Collaborate with trade suppliers to ensure invoice accuracy and timeliness.
Reporting & Budgeting
  • Prepare and review Monthly Management Accounting (MMA) Reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the yearly budget.
  • Support yearly audit processes and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
General Finance Tasks
  • Generate scheduled/ad hoc reports and improve process workflows.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in task delivery, guided by KPIs and SLA.
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
    • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Mandarin speakers are preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles (including double-entry bookkeeping).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Added advantage: Knowledge of ERP systems like MS GP.
