A technological solutions company in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks an Accounting professional to handle the preparation of monthly financial statements, manage month-end close processes, and liaise with auditors. Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in accounting, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in Mandarin. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in financial statement preparation and accounting software.
Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
Manage the month-end close process and oversee account receivable, account payable, fixed assets and other accounting functions.
Conducting variance analyses and providing detailed explanations for financial results.
Prepare slide and financial analysis for stakeholders.
Liaise with auditor, tax agent to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Perform ad doc task assigned by management when necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
Experience with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform variance analysis and interpret financial data.
Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin is a must.
