Job description

Job Overview:

Responsible to manage and execute region assurance, activation and project related works with reporting/tracking management.

• Responsible for the quality-of-service assurance (fault attending & meeting preventive maintenance schedule)
• Responsible for the quality-of-service activation (meeting CRD and installation specifications)
• Manage and supervise contractor works in order to ensure quality work and delivery.
• Responsible for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for facility equipment (Power, Air-cond, Genset, SMR, Battery), equipment powers up and rectify the defect from PM Portal within specific period of time.
• Meet Network MTTR within a specific period of time - (Critical, Major, Minor & Warning Faults).
• Maintain the accuracy of site records, i.e., fiber network database and condition of all assigned tools and test gears.
• Responsible as PM to manage, coordinate (internal & external) and involve with network relocation and rectification project.
• Provide regular status update to immediate superior on all activities and adhere with occupational safety & health requirements.

To be considered, you’ll need:

• Minimum diploma in either Civil, Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in fiber optic telecommunication industry
• Knowledge in DWDM and access equipment with at least 1 to 3 years hand on operations experience. Good knowledge and troubleshooting skills in network facility equipment such power, air-conditioner, standby generator etc with hand on work experience is advantage.
• Willing to work on standby and frequent outstation.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills: high integrity, self-discipline, positive attitude, analytical thinking, problem solving skill and able to work with minimum supervision. Has ability to remain composed and professional in stressful in high pressure situation.
