Job summary

A reputable manufacturing company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced professional to maintain and operate the electrical systems of their factory. The role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, compliance with environmental health and safety standards, and ensuring that all installations meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a related field and a relevant diploma or certificate. Shift work may be required as per company demands.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for maintenance and operation of the electrical system of the factory.

To perform, lead and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance, trouble shooting and performing corrective maintenance, work order scheduling, planning, system operation and inspection , conducting economic analysis and improvement especially in the electrical/electronic section at the factory.

To maintain, install and trouble‑shoot of electrical systems, air‑condition system, fire system, building, plant, machinery and equipment.

Liase with utilities providers such as TNB government requlatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.

Conduct monitoring, trending and tracking of daily power consumption of the company, as well as, initiate preventive maintenance to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failure.

Ensure incident free work environment in compliance with EHS requirements.

Plan and oversea plant facilitation of works and projects.

Plan and carryout electrical building maintenance works or renovations and improvement.

Daily inspections on the electrical main switch board.

Handle Electrical consultant inspection & update status on electric supply condition.

To ensure building electrical is maintained effectively and comply with Energy Commission requirement.

To ensure that substation equipment installations are executed in such a manner that meet the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements.

Ensure all relevant laws and regulations relating to electrical system and installation are complied with.

Required to work on shift per top management or company's request.
