Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between the company and client for all engineering-related matters (mechanical, electrical, and general services).
- Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of the engineering team, ensuring incident resolution and continuity through operations excellence practices.
- Monitor and ensure all client complaints related to facilities are addressed professionally and rectified according to company procedures.
- Assist the Lead Engineer in planning, executing, and monitoring installations, maintenance, repairs, and testing of engineering systems.
- Develop and implement the Annual Operations Excellence Blueprint, identifying critical success factors and mitigation plans for service delivery.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational performance, including dashboards, analysis, and management/customer reports.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, safety, and industry regulations through regular audits and staff engagement aligned with QSHE policies.
- Support financial operations by facilitating timely work documentation for billing, and assisting in resolving payment issues from clients.
- Monitor and evaluate vendors’ performance against service agreements and KPIs, escalating issues that may impact service delivery.
- Utilise Edgenta Smart Connect and related platforms to track operations data, ensuring proper system usage and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field) from a university recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering facility management.
- Hands‑on exposure to building, township, or district management operations.
- Strong background in managing engineering systems, maintenance activities, and service delivery within facilities.
- Familiar with facility‑related regulations, standards, and best practices in a property or infrastructure environment.
