Job summary

A leading technology firm in Penang is seeking a motivated individual to operate and maintain electrical facilities equipment, assist with daily factory operations, and perform preventive maintenance tasks. Suitable candidates should possess at least SPM, SPVM, or a technical diploma, with strong knowledge in electrical systems. Responsibilities also include conducting inspections and testing works on Low Voltage systems in a rotating shift role.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM, SPVM, Certificate or Diploma in Science or technical field.
• Candidate must have knowledge in electrical systems.
• Preferably candidates who are self-motivated, resourceful, independent, and pro-active.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical facilities equipment according to procedures and regulations.
• Assist with daily factory operations and resolve downtime incidents.
• Perform tasks outlined by the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Inspect Low Voltage electrical installations in the plant.
• Perform general inspections on main switchboards and electrical panels.
• Conduct testing works on Low Voltage systems.

Job description

To operate and maintain electrical facilities equipment according to standard operating procedure and regulations

To assist factory's daily operation, trouble shoot and resolve any downtime incident (Electrical)

To perform tasks as outlined by Preventive Maintenance program

Familiar with checking/ inspection Low Voltage electrical installation system in the plant

Other duties as assigned by superior from time to time

Registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga as plant Low Voltage electrical Chargeman

Perform general inspections on main switchboard and electrical panels

Perform testing works on Low Voltage system such as insulation resistance test etc.

Willing to work in rotating shift as per request by management

Education, Qualification Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a SPM, SPVM, Certificate or Diploma in Science or technical field.

Candidate must have knowledge in electrical system

Preferably candidate who are self motivated, resourceful, independent and pro-active
