Overview

Epsom College Malaysia is seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will play a critical role in managing the overall operations of daily maintenance works and assignments, ensuring high standards of facility management throughout the campus.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise daily facility maintenance operations across campus areas including administrative offices, boarding houses, classrooms, laboratories, and sports facilities.
  • Develop and implement a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program to maintain all equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
  • Utilise the FCS App to track and manage maintenance tasks according to KPIs set by management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Work with external service providers and contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine checks on mechanical and electrical systems and report defect rectification and repair status, including maintaining inventories and work-in-progress records.
  • Develop and manage an annual maintenance forecast budget to effectively plan and justify expenses.
  • Lead the OSHA Committee, promoting workplace safety and compliance with occupational standards.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for the facilities team while ensuring adequate staff coverage for maintenance operations.
  • Be well-versed in regulatory requirements and experience liaising with relevant authorities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building and facilities maintenance operations, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including external vendors and contractors.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
