Job summary

Job description

Prepare façade and curtain wall design drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards

Develop design concepts, system layouts, technical details, and material selections for façade systems including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and related components

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent, constructability, and timely project delivery

Participate in design development, value engineering exercises, and technical problem-solving across various project stages

Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce accurate and compliant façade designs

Support design revisions arising from site conditions, client feedback, or authority requirements

Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant local and international standards, codes, and best practices

Assist in internal design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and technical standards

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in façade or curtain wall design
• Background: Proven background in the façade / curtain wall industry is essential
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture (design-oriented), Civil / Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (structure, materials, manufacturing processes), or other relevant disciplines
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or BIM software (e.g. Revit); experience with other design or analysis tools is an advantage
• Skills: Strong capability in architectural drafting, technical detailing, and design coordination
• Knowledge: Good understanding of façade systems, materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes
• Language & Communication: Proficient in English (written and spoken); Mandarin / Chinese language skills are an added advantage; strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Personal Attributes: Able to relocate to Singapore; detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines; strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving ability; willingness to learn and adapt in a technically demanding, project-based environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: SGD 4,000 – 5,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Annual Benefits: 13th month salary; performance-based bonus
• Cross-border Hiring Support: One-time setup allowance of SGD 1,500 for Malaysia-based candidates
