A public university in Malaysia is seeking an Executive for Student Development Section. The role involves maintaining student development records, overseeing the GHOCS system, and coordinating student-led activities. Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree or Diploma and experience in education or event management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphic editing software is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this position.
Maintain and update student development records and databases accurately and promptly.
Oversee and update the GHOCS (Graduate Higher Order Critical Skills) system to monitor student participation and achievements.
Prepare official reports, documentation, and correspondence for the section as needed.
Review and process student activity proposals to ensure compliance with university policies and guidelines.
Coordinate, monitor, and provide administrative support for student-led activities, programmes, and events.
Assist in compiling student achievements for accreditation, institutional assessment, and recognition purposes.
Offer guidance and advice to student leaders and committees to support effective activity management.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement, leadership, and holistic development.
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in any related field.
Experience in the education sector, particularly in student affairs, event management, or student activities, is preferred.
Able to work independently with strong organisational and multitasking skills, and good attention to detail.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Multimedia and graphic editing skills (e.g., OBS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) are an added advantage.
Good command of English (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
