Executive/Senior Executive - Administration (90022)

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sunway University is seeking a detail-oriented Executive/Senior Executive - Administration to oversee key administrative functions. This role ensures efficient operations of the faculty while providing essential support to faculty members and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to students and staff, and handle enquiries efficiently.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Deputy Deans (Internationalisation / Employability and Alumni).
  • Serve as secretary for Faculty committees, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up on action items.
  • Represent the Faculty in relevant university meetings and events, acting as the primary liaison for faculty matters.
  • Manage travel arrangements, purchase requisitions, and claims submissions for the Deputy Deans.
  • Coordinate and execute faculty events, meetings, marketing activities, and other initiatives as required.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, databases, and listings, including university ranking data, statistics, and audit documentation.
  • Oversee adjunct and visiting staff appointments, including coordination of visits, talks, honorarium payments, and claims.
  • Support Student Engagement and Experience Taskforce initiatives to enhance student experience.
  • Administer MOU/MOA approvals, Open Day activities, Student Ambassador recruitment, and special faculty projects/activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in the education industry.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic to learn and apply new skills.
  • Collaborative and work well in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
