Qualifications

Job Summary

The position is tasked to operate security compliance, adherence and assurance program, aligning with the National Policy Objectives, in order to ensure security, reliability and integrity of Malaysia's network environment and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute operational procedures that ensure ongoing compliance with established security policies across all industry players.
• Conduct regular audits of systems and processes to assess adherence to security standards; compile findings into actionable reports for management.
• Collaborate in developing strategic plans for network security compliance; assist in aligning operational practices with these strategies.
• Assist in managing security incidents by ensuring documentation aligns with compliance requirements for reporting purposes.
• Work closely with industry players to ensure all technological implementations align with security policies.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities including audits, assessments, training sessions, and incident reports.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting network security; recommend policy updates as necessary to maintain compliance.
• Assist in developing metrics to measure the effectiveness of compliance initiatives; report findings regularly to management.Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance; facilitate discussions on best practices for network security.
• Regularly assess the maturity level of compliance initiatives within industry players; monitor implementation improvements based on findings.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related qualification from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
• Minimum 2 years working experience in regulatory and/or information and cyber security domain.
