Job description
Overview

Responsible for ensuring physical stock tallies with system records and that stocks are delivered according to company policies and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, storage and issuing of finished goods within the scope of the warehouse are to be carried out as per warehouse SOP’s, policy, regulations and safety requirements.
  • Management of the warehouse in compliance with Carlsberg standards.
  • To ensure cleanliness of work areas and follow cleaning program as listed in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Master Cleaning Schedule and Maintain warehouse standards through 5S, safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Monitor and control stock movement by adhering to FIFO/FEFO principles and preventing dispatch of expired or damaged stock.
  • To ensure aged beer is not released without prior approval, in accordance with Carlsberg policy
  • Ensure that the stocks requested are delivered correctly and on time, with the correct and necessary documents.
  • To arrange for staff overtime if necessary (weekdays, public holiday and shutdown) Ensure staff, contract workers and lorry drivers always in proper attire and comply with Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad (CBMB) safety regulation.
  • To conduct physical stock count and cycle count as per requirement and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • To safeguard the company’s properties and equipment and ensure that confidential information is not disclosed to non-CBMB staff.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate and resolve operational issues such as inventory discrepancies, stock damages or delivery delays.
  • Prepare, analyze and submit warehouse operational reports for management review
  • Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to optimize warehouse processes, improve productivity, reduce waste, and save costs.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to standardize best practices and support business growth
  • Any other duties that are to be given from time to time.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in any relevant field
  • At least 2 years in Operational Logistic
  • Knowledge in SAP system and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Experience preferably in F&B/FMCG industry
