Job summary

A financial services company in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to manage Actuarial Pricing responsibilities. Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare detailed requirements on Actuarial Pricing related areas in a structured manner, particularly on rates table and calculation formula.
• Review detailed requirement documents prepared by vendor on Actuarial Pricing related areas.
• Plan and review testing scope and test scenarios.
• Perform testing and/or review test results, where applicable.
• Other tasks as required for Actuarial Pricing under the Core Transformation Project.
• Ensure proper documentation on the work performed and adherence to timelines set for the project.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager / Head of Department.
• Ensure compliance with Company and Regulatory policies and regulations. Other duties as required by the Management.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of insurance products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• University degree in Actuarial Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferably with internship experience in an insurance or Takaful company.
• Strong analytical skills with good time management abilities.
