Responsibilities
- Lead the specification, procurement, installation, validation, and approval phases for new equipment as prerequisites for Manufacturing Release
- Curate and control comprehensive documentation, including equipment specifications, as well as corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports
- Post‑Manufacturing Release (MR) provide ongoing equipment engineering support to enable production ramp‑up and facilitate new product introductions and process changes
- Drive equipment program execution to meet cost, quality, availability, and safety metrics
- Develop and execute installation and validation plans for new manufacturing equipment
- Lead equipment innovation and optimization initiatives, such as pigment powder delivery systems to achieve significant improvements in cost, productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency
- Act as a key contributor to successful equipment installations
- Collaborate with the Technology Manager and Head of Engineered Solutions to design, document, and engineer effective equipment solutions
- Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure accuracy in drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for both standard and custom equipment
- Champion the standardization of equipment across manufacturing processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or other related engineering fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Business Intelligence tools and AutoCAD
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Experience in spare part planning and procurement to ensure availability during machine breakdowns
- Knowledgeable in quality practices such as IQC, OQC, and DOE
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards
- Hands‑on experience in IPC, SMT, WB/DA, FMEA, and Automotive 5 Core Tools
- Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management
- Knowledge or certification in IPC 610 standard (CIS/CIT), FMEA, Control Plan, GR&R, and DOE
