About the Role

As an Engineering Officer (Tooling), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of tooling operations and troubleshooting. You’ll be deeply involved in activities such as:

• Problem-Solving: Solving tooling problems for equipment like drilling, tapping, broach tools, hob cutters, and more.
• Innovation: Driving tooling improvement through analysis, trials, and monitoring performance.
• Analysis & Reporting: Summarizing tooling usage data for improvement plans and creating comprehensive monthly reports.
• Team Collaboration: Leading weekly meetings to update and monitor progress on improvements and activities.
• Optimization: Maintaining updated tooling lists, standards, usage guidelines, and cost analyses.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Taking on challenges as directed by your supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
• Skills: Mathematical aptitude, cutting tool knowledge (added advantage), and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
