Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coach, and give technical advice for the below team to maintain the key function area as below:
  • General
    • Provide technical support to Production Daily Operation and improvement
    • Provide technical support to QA/QC daily operation and improvement
  • Production & Specification Team
    • Provide technical support to customer engineering – R&D related work and production improvement
    • Provide or develop the specification for parts and product
    • Provide the review and approval for parts use on product (VFAIR)
    • Lead new product & project
    • Be product ownership and fully responsible on technical and changes aspect
    • Manage risk identification, analysis, evaluation and reporting
  • Front Line Support Team
    • Provide the effective & efficient moulding setting parameter to product – 1 on new & modify moulds
    • Develop and propose the dimension spec (hot & cool) to product team
    • Provide study, testing and evolution on the new moulds as well as the modify mould to manage process set‑up coordination
  • Process Control Team
    • Provide the 1st set jig & fixture to production on new product as well as design revise product
    • Develop the process control plan for new model and existing model
    • Provide the estimation cycle time costing department
    • Ensure the other relevant activity / task (such as calibration) are well maintained
  • Data Management Team
    • Verify customer BOM & EN
    • Maintain & update the system info pertaining to engineering module
    • Register new form part & sub‑assembly parts on system
    • Develop the BOM – plastic part, FG - Accessory
• Report the team performance to superior from time to time and provide proposal of solution when facing problem / difficulty
• Lead & manage the department to achieve the Department KPI as per given by management
• Train & coach the team members to enhance their capacity to meet the Department & Company Vision & Mission
• Promote the “Continuous Improvement Culture” to the team member & implement the CIP activities from time to time
• Demonstrate a good leadership example to the team members & promote team work
• Ensure all activity which are under Company QMS system requirement are well implemented & maintain
• Provide full cooperation & support within the company / organization
• Undertake any other task or assignment by superior from time to time
• Continuous monitoring on Medical Device related Risk Management Reporting and Implementation Status
• Report Risk Management effectiveness status to Management review

Job Qualification

• Degree in Engineering Field (e.g.: Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical) and/or
• Knowledge in QMS and ISO 9001 system, ISO 13845 Medical Device STD, Medical Device Risk Management ISO 14971
• Knowledge and experience in PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), PAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning & Control Plan), 8D Problem Solving Methodology Moulding Injection, Lean Manufacturing
• Minimum have 3 years of experience in manage / supervise an Engineering Team (team size approx. x10 persons)
• Knowledge and experience in moulding injection
• Good in problem solving and decision making. Good interpersonal skill, positive thinking, high commitment and self-motivation
