Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Engineering team to provide effective and timely technical support to operations.
  • Oversee all engineering initiatives to ensure customer expectations, project timelines, and budgets are consistently met.
  • Direct engineering activities to support sales, manufacturing, and quality with a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and provide accurate technical costing to enhance win rates.
  • Drive successful and timely New Product Introductions through concurrent engineering practices.
  • Lead cost-reduction efforts by improving manufacturing methods and process efficiency.
  • Manage technology and product transfers from other divisions or locations.
  • Champion innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and applying them to improve business performance.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment — aerospace, metalmachining, or precision engineering preferred.

  • Solid understanding of materials engineering and technology management in a manufacturing context.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills in a fast-paced production environment.
